The mathematically proven formula to win at keno is simple. The strategy is to play a three number ticket (a three spot), which mathematically provides for the best profit ratio. Three numbers are the easiest combination of numbers to hit and the payout is 43 to 1.  Note: a player also wins if only one or two of the three numbers are drawn, and with the combined probability of hitting 0,1,2, or 3 numbers no other combination of numbers gives the player a better mathematical chance of winning.
The best and most proven strategy in keno is the three spot - 25 game system. The reason why 25 games are chosen is because mathematically, according to the law of diminishing returns, this is the point of maximum payoff.   The method is simple; all you need to do is choose your three lucky numbers and play 25 games at $3 each.
If the player only hits all three numbers once, the player wins $129.  After deducting the cost of the tickets ($75) from the winnings the player makes a profit of $54, not even including the winnings from hitting one or two numbers in other games. A Reduced keno system is a system that uses the same numbers multiple times on separate tickets.  Players use this type of system as a way of multiplying good luck, instead of just hitting one number when your lucky you hit a few.

The 6 to 4 Reduced System
This is an example of what a reduced system looks like. The total number of tickets is three. Your selection of numbers is six and this is reduced to three tickets of four numbers each.

STEP 1. Select you lucky six numbers between one and eighty and place them in the selections box at the top. Next, copy your six selections vertically down the chart to fill in the light colored boxes. The dark boxes remain blank.

STEP 2. Transfer the four numbers on each ticket line to your keno entry form. Your purchase will be three tickets of four numbers each.
Ticket 1. 13, 27, 33, 41.
Ticket 2. 13, 28, 41, 79.
Ticket 3. 27, 28, 33, 79.

STEP 3. At the purchase price of $1 per ticket, your total cost to play this system would be $3. Three dollars is not a large bet, however by playing this system, for $3 you have three chances of getting all four numbers on one ticket! With this system you stand to profit $122! and if all six of your selections are drawn you'll have three winning keno tickets of four numbers each, a $366 PROFIT!

Keep in mind that when playing the 6 to 4 reduced keno system, If not all of your numbers are drawn, you still win!

For example: 
Five winning numbers out of six selections = one four number win and two three number wins.
Four winning numbers out of six selections = a minimum of two three number wins plus one two number win. Also three chances at a four number win.
Three winning numbers out of six selections = a minimum of 2 two number wins plus three chances of a three number win.
Two winning numbers out of six selections = a minimum of one two number win plus the chance of another two number win.
